"This card is simple and to the point, just the way we want it. Although the corner of the save the date column looks a bit funny, we still like the simplistic style to this card. The only complaint we have is actually how the save the date portion is positioned on the left on almost all the save the date cards' design, except for this "Label of Love" one!!!. We originally were going with "Best Date Ever Save The Date", because the save the date portion looks simpler and the fonts for the date are much bigger and eye catching. But the problem with most of the one-photo save the date cards on this website is that the "save the date" portion is almost always on the left. It is already hard to decide on what's our favorite photo to put on a save the date card, having to pick a photo that fit the design just adds another layer of complication."
"I was really nervous about using Shutterfly for the save-the-dates for mine and Darik's October wedding, until my friend sent me a save-the-date for her wedding also made by Shutterfly. I spent some time playing around with the layouts of several "favorited" templates, which I highly recommend especially if you're planning to have photos on your cards. I was worried that the pictures might be too small as many of our engagement photos were not close up shots. So I took a shot and was blown away when my little orange box arrived. The pictures were perfectly clear and it looks absolutely gorgeous! I simply love it! Also, I might add, the delivery time was pretty spectacular too. I ordered mine exactly a week ago on Memorial Day weekend and althouh they weren't originally supposed to arrive until next week, I still got them last night, Friday, despite the Federal holiday. Shutterfly is awesome! :-)"
"Our romantic overlay save the dates turned out beautifully! They are exactly what we wanted and have great quality! We are excited about our friends and family receiving them! We chose to get the plain white envelopes that came with them and they have a couple "weak" spots near the top of the envelope that cased a couple of them to get some small rips; however, not a major concern but something we did not exactly expect. The cards themselves were "perfect!""
"Affordable and good quality!"
"We couldn't be happier with our save the dates! They look even better in person."
Knowing when to send your save the date cards and questions to ask your wedding photographer are crucial for any wedding preperation. Without them, the wedding invitations may not get sent out until too late, and some people who would have loved to have been at your wedding will have already made plans to do something else. For a unique option that will guarantee people will remember, consider sending out save the date magnets to everyone you want at your big day.
There are plenty of ways to let people know when your wedding date is so that they can mark it down on their calendars. The great thing about magnets is that your guests are likely to put them on their fridges. That way any time they go to grab something to eat, they are reminded of the impending nuptials. This can be a major asset over sending an email because messages can get forgotten, deleted or sent to the spam folder.
Another reason to send save the date magnets is that it gives your guests a souvenir to remember the occasion. However, something to keep in mind is that even when you use save the dates, you still need to send the actual wedding invitation. The magnets are just meant for people to know when the big day is and get accommodations if necessary. The invitations will have more concrete details. The save the dates should go out about six months before the wedding while invitations need to go out about two months prior.
